WW Note: I’m very happy to say that if you yield 65 cookies you’ll end up with 2 points a cookie! It’s 123 points for the whole recipe so you can also divide it up based on your final cookie count. But at 2 points a piece this is a far more friendly way to enjoy the taste of brownies!

Continuing on in the cookie chapter….we find one of the fun favorites that my daughter and I really had a good time with!

I’ve never really done cookie cutters on any other kind of cookie dough other than sugar cookies. So this was a fun change and when I think I’m going to come back to you again because we had such a good time using our cookie cutters on it.

And the title is appropriate because they taste a lot like brownies. For my WW people out there I would highly recommend making these and using small cookie cutters with it to get these down to 1 point a piece!

We started out with the heart cookie cutter which is about 3 inches wide. I then remembered that I had some Pampered Chef emoji cookie cutters and decided to use those on the last part of the cookie dough.

My stoneware made a perfect place to bake these cookies! I was able to fit quite a few on there to lessen the bake time that I had for all the cookies.

These emoji cookie cutters are $12 and a really fun thing to have on hand if you’ve got kids who like playing with Play-Doh or enjoy helping make cookies like these. Grab a set of them for yourself here!

I was surprised how chewy these cookies stayed so many days after I made them. Because it made so many it took us a while to work through them. I think I made them on a Monday and ended up bringing him with me to a friend’s house that Friday and they were still soft and chewy. I’m not really sure what in this recipe makes them that way but I think I found my new favorite recipe to use with cookie cutters!!

This is a fun one, I really encourage you to give it a try!
